According to the same article, “These committees shall be temporary. They shall begin their work in preparation for the electoral processes, and end after announcement of the election results by the High Commission.”

According to paragraph (b) of the same article, one of the tasks of the electoral committees in cities and towns is: “These committees shall carry out their tasks in accordance with the Commission Law, the instructions issued by the High Elections Commission, and shall determine the number of ballot boxes and how to vote, distributing them within its work circle, naming the heads of the electoral centers, examining objections to the conduct of the electoral process in the electoral centers within its work circle, and correcting the violating procedures during the course of the electoral process.
