Emergency teams in Tal Tamr city, along with the assistance of local citizens, succeeded in bringing a large fire that erupted in al-Husayniyah village in the western outskirts of the city under control through continued efforts that lasted for several hours to stop the flames from spreading.

This fire erupted very quickly as a result of the weather conditions and the geographical characteristics of the area, which caused the flames to spread towards Umm al-Masamir village and closed the Tal Tamr-Jabal Kazwan road.

From early reports, the fire had caused material damage in the form of the burning down of some agricultural project machinery. Special teams attempted to create firebreaks to stop the fire from spreading to other farms and houses in the vicinity.

The emergency teams stated that what played an important role in stopping the fire from spreading further and causing more damages was the quick response and involvement of the people in putting out the fire.

This event takes place during a time where there have been many cases of fires in the rural regions of Tal Tamr, adding to the difficulties faced by the farmers at this time and posing a danger to the agricultural season due to repeated losses of agricultural equipment and produce.
