Fierce clashes at Tishreen Dam as four mercenary attacks repelled

Fighters from the Women’s Protection Units (YPJ) and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) repelled four violent attacks launched by mercenaries of the interim government around Tishreen Dam since the early morning hours. They managed to destroy four tanks, two military vehicles, two armored vehicles, and a bulldozer, resulting in the death of a number of mercenaries.

Mercenaries of the interim government and the Turkish occupation state launched fierce attacks on Tishreen Dam and its surrounding areas early this morning.

The mercenaries targeted the residential areas of Tishreen Dam, the Sritil Hill, and the dam itself using tanks, artillery, and various types of heavy weapons, deploying large numbers of fighters.

They attempted to storm the dam and Sritil Hill four times from different directions. However, fighters from the Women’s Protection Units and the Syrian Democratic Forces responded with strong resistance each time, inflicting heavy losses on the mercenaries.

According to available information, four tanks, two military vehicles, two armored vehicles, and a bulldozer have been destroyed so far. Many mercenaries were killed, and others were wounded.
