Explosion targets soldiers of Damascus forces in Daraa

A soldier of the Damascus government forces was killed and another was injured with varying injuries, as a result of the explosion of an explosive device planted by unknown persons in a feeding vehicle belonging to the Damascus government forces, on the administrative border between Daraa and Quneitra, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

This is considered the second targeting of its kind within hours in the Daraa countryside, resulting in deaths and injuries among the ranks of the Damascus government forces, as 4 members of the “State Security” of the Damascus government forces were killed, and two other members were injured with varying injuries, in targeting a military vehicle carrying them, from by unidentified gunmen this morning, coinciding with its passage on the road linking the cities of Jassim and Inkhil in the northern countryside of Daraa.

Thus, the total number of attacks in Daraa, since the beginning of the year, has reached 471 incidents of security chaos, all of which took place in different ways and methods, and caused the death of 378 people, most of them citizens and members of the Damascus government forces.

This comes in light of the widespread chaos and security chaos in Daraa, in addition to the absence of legal oversight and accountability.
