Eva Ali’ body will be buried in martyr Dalil Sarukhan shrine

The people of the city of Qamishlo carried the body of citizen Eva Ali to her final resting place, and stressed the continuation of the struggle of the martyrs.

Today, hundreds of people from the city of Qamishlo went to the shrine of the martyr Dalil Sarukhan, to mourn the body of the citizen Eva Ali, who was martyred following an incident last March 30.

The funeral ceremony was attended by representatives of the Democratic Autonomos-Administration, political parties, the Democratic Society Movement, members of Kongra Star and the families of the martyrs.

The ceremony began with a minute of silence, then the co-chair of the Council of Martyrs' Families in the city of Qamishlo, Aida Ibrahim, gave a speech, in which she referred to the struggle that the martyrs went through to achieve a free and equal life, and said: "We will follow in the footsteps of our martyrs until the last breath."

For her part, the mother of the martyr Eva Ali, Layla Hibo, pledged to accompany her daughter’s struggle and fulfill the hopes of all the martyrs.

Then the document of the martyr was read and handed over to her family, so that her body could be buried in the shrine of the martyr Dalil Sarukhan.
