Ecology conference holds sessions for second day

The work of the second and final day of the first ecological conference in NE Syria began with the entry into the third axis, which was titled “The relationship between genocide and ecocide in Kurdistan.”

Under the slogan “With the ecological approach, we will liberate leader Ocalan and find a solution to the Kurdish issue,” the work of the first ecological conference, organized by the Environment Body began at the University of Rojava in the city of Qamishlo in NE Syria.

The conference's activities include discussing the third axes, entitled (the relationship between genocide and ecocide in Kurdistan) and the fourth (cooperation between organizations and movements in NE Syria).

The conference began yesterday, with the participation of 120 delegates, representatives of the Democratic Autonomous Administration, political parties, and social and civil organizations.

The first day's work discussed the two themes (ecology in democratic modernity) and (combining the ecological struggle with the struggle against colonialism/capitalism).
