The governor of Hasaka discussed with a delegation tasked with following up on the implementation of the January 29th Agreement with the Syrian Democratic Forces the acceleration of ending the displaced persons file, ensuring their safe return to their areas in Aleppo and Afrin, and providing the necessary logistical facilities.

Hasaka Governor Nour Eddin Ahmed received a delegation from the team appointed by the Interim Government Prime Minister Ahmed al-Sharaa to oversee the implementation of the January 29th Agreement held between the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and the Interim Government. The meeting focused on mechanisms for implementing the agreement's provisions, particularly the file of displaced persons' return to their towns and villages, according to a statement released by the governor's media office.

The visiting delegation consisted of the committee spokesperson Ahmed al-Hilali and the committee member Mostafa Abdi.

The delegation met with the governor of Hasaka, the deputy commander of the Internal Security Forces in Hasaka Mahmoud Khalil, and Asayish leader Nesrin Abdullah.

Those present emphasized the need to expedite the resolution of the displaced persons issue and ensure their safe and dignified return to their homes and areas. The matter was discussed in detail, and the measures taken to facilitate the return of displaced persons to their areas in Aleppo, Afrin, and their surrounding districts and villages were reviewed.

These steps will be implemented under the supervision of the governors of Hasaka and Aleppo, and accompanied by the deputy commander of the Internal Security Forces in Hasaka, Mahmoud Khalil, and the leader of the (Asayish) forces, Nesrin Abdullah, with the aim of securing all the necessary supplies and facilities, including transport buses, ambulances, and securing food supplies.
