TISHREEN DAM

Protesters on the Tishreen Dam continue their protest for the sixteenth consecutive day, demanding an end to Turkish attacks. Today, a delegation from the Democratic Autonomous Administration North and East Syria is taking part in the protest.

Despite the cold weather and rainfall, protesters continue their peaceful activities in order to stop the attacks.

The Turkish occupation state has been waging attacks on the Tishreen Dam since December 8, 2024 to stop these attacks, convoys of civilians from all regions of NE Syria headed to the dam on January 8, but the Turkish occupation state targeted convoys and protesters several times.

On Wednesday, protesters at the dam were targeted, resulting in the martyrdom of a citizen and the injury of dozens. Thus, the number of martyrs as a result of Turkish attacks against protesters reaches about 20 citizens, while more than 120 others were injured.
