The delegation was received by the co-chairmanship of the Department of Foreign Relations, Fanar al-Kaait, member of the administrative body, Khaled Ibrahim, and Lana Hussein, representative of the Women’s Protection Units (YPJ).

During the meeting with the delegations, the general situation in Syria, and northern and eastern Syria in particular, was discussed, in addition to the file of ISIS mercenaries, the al-Hol and Roj Camps, and the file of Turkish violations.

Fanar al-Kaait said, "The continued Turkish threats to the region, its extensive targeting of civilians and employees of the Autonomous Administration with warplanes and drones, its continuous bombing of the region, and its targeting of the infrastructure and capabilities of the region's components, without deterrence and in full view of the silent international community."

He stressed that the Autonomous Administration is cooperating with all countries that want to repatriate their nationals, “but these efforts are insufficient, as they are partial solutions to the ISIS file. Therefore, the international community must give greater attention and search for radical, comprehensive and integrated solutions to this file, especially since the Autonomous Administration has shown a lot of concern of proposals, projects and plans to resolve the file.

In her turn, Tasha Solomon, Director of the Office of Terrorist Detention Centers at the US State Department, thanked the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria for its support in returning American citizens, and stressed the continuation of cooperation on the ISIS file in the future.

She stressed that the only permanent solution to the humanitarian and security crisis in the camps for the displaced and detention centers in northeastern Syria is for countries to return the refugees to their homelands, rehabilitate and integrate them.

Gers Gerlag, Special Envoy to Syria at the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, conveyed the thanks of the Government of the Netherlands to the Autonomous Administration for its full cooperation and carrying out its responsibilities in assisting in the legal procedures, and stressed that the Netherlands “very much respects the Autonomous Administration in its management of the difficult conditions in the camps and outside them, despite the burden they place on you.”

In her turn, Victoria Fuller, Director General of the Office of Consular Operations at the Canadian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, confirmed that Canada is very grateful for the cooperation shown by the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria.

As for Yossi Taner, Director General of Consular Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, he stressed that "the camps in North and East Syria constitute a strategic security threat to all countries that have citizens within the camps, and it is necessary to encourage these countries to cooperate effectively and professionally with the Autonomous Administration to address this common threat."

At the end of the meetings, a woman and 10 American children, a woman and 3 Dutch children, 6 Canadian children, and a Finnish child were handed over, according to a handover document between the Autonomous Administration and the visiting delegations.
