The PYD delegation's news was published on the party's official website. It was noted that the meeting took place in the Moroccan Parliament, attended by the head of the Socialist Union bloc in Parliament, Abdel Rahim Shahid, and the head of the Parliamentary Justice and Legislation Committee, Saeed Baaziz.

During the meeting, the head of the party delegation, Suleiman Arab, spoke about developments in Syria and the Kurdish issue in Syria. The two parties also exchanged views on the political situation in the Kingdom of Morocco, noting that it somewhat resembles the situation in Syria in terms of the presence of multiple nationalities.

The importance of developing relations between the Kingdom of Morocco and the region of North and East Syria was emphasized.

It is worth noting that political changes took place in Morocco, including a constitutional amendment after 2011, establishing the Amazigh language as an official language alongside Arabic. Other constitutional amendments also had a positive impact on the country's situation.

A delegation from the Democratic Union Party also participated in the conference of the Union of Socialist Democratic Youth in the Arab World, held in the Kingdom of Morocco from May 27 to 30.
