Deir ez-Zor residents pledge support for security forces against attacks

Government and the so-called "National Defense" forces launched an attack on towns and villages in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor late Tuesday night, using both heavy and light weapons, resulting in the deaths of two civilians and injuring seven others.

In this context, residents expressed their support for the security forces, Deir ez-Zor Military Council, and Syrian Democratic Forces facing these attacks.

Citizen Mohammed Al-Halal emphasized the importance of vigilance among Deir ez-Zor residents against attempts targeting their security and stability. He stressed their solidarity with local institutions under the autonomous administration and their rejection of attacks targeting civilians.

Al-Halal also highlighted the importance of popular solidarity against conspiracies, emphasizing support for the autonomous administration and collective action to confront attacks, expressing opposition to any attacks targeting civilians in NE Syria.

Meanwhile, citizen Wahab Al-Bashar emphasized the necessity of facing ongoing challenges and protecting the autonomous administration in the region through increased unity, stating that attacks on the region will not deter their perseverance.

Citizen Said Hawash from Deir ez-Zor pointed out the policies of intimidation and indiscriminate shelling pursued by the Damascus government, which have resulted in the deaths and injuries of civilians.

He reiterated their support for military and security forces in repelling attacks, calling for unity and solidarity to eliminate all risks.
