The child protection organizations and the Sterk Association explained that the death of the infant displaced from Afrin and Shahba Canton is a direct result of the international community’s failure in the face of the Turkish war machine, which deprives the lives of innocent people.

Condemning the attacks of the Turkish occupation state and the forced displacement of the displaced people of Afrin and Shahba, the Child Protection Office in Al-Jazira Canton, and the Sterk Association for the Protection of Child Rights in North and East Syria, made a statement. With 2 separate statements for public opinion.

The statement of the Child Protection Office in Al-Jazir Canton was read in front of the Women’s Authority building in the city of Qamishlo, by the head of the Women’s Authority, Rohat Khalil, in the presence of members of the office and bodies, departments and offices of the Democratic Autonomous Administration.

The statement explained: “With great sadness and sorrow, the Child Protection Office expresses its deep condolences to the family of child Noah, and to all the families affected by the recent escalation and attacks launched by the Turkish occupation on the Shahba and Tal Rifaat area.”

The statement stressed that this painful incident is not just an individual tragedy, but rather part of a long series of crimes targeting the lives and future of children in conflict areas. They are deprived of their basic rights to safety, education, and health care, in addition to being exposed to the risks of displacement and loss of shelter and stability.

The statement explained that the death of this child (Noah Rasho) is not just a passing incident, but rather a direct result of the failure of the international community in the face of the Turkish war machine, which deprives the lives of innocent people. An said: "We will not remain silent about these crimes, and we will continue to demand justice until fair retribution is achieved for all victims."

For its part, the Sterk Association for the Protection of Child Rights made a statement read by student Dildar Abdo at the Martyr Mustafa Gilo School in the city of Qamishlo, in the presence of members of the Islamic Democratic Conferance, the Nodem Organization, the Sara Organization for Combating Violence against Women, and the Free Women’s Endowment in Syria.

The statement, on behalf of the Sterk Association for the Protection of Child Rights in North and East Syria, called on all countries that have signed laws protecting human rights and children to stop crimes committed against children, and to save women and children from the massacres of the Turkish occupation state and its mercenaries.
