Damascus government forces bombed with heavy artillery villages and towns within the so-called De-escalation zone in the early morning hours, with the bombing focusing on the villages of Kafr Ama and Kafr Ta'al in the western countryside of Aleppo, and the towns of Al-Fatira, Safuhan, Fleifel, and Al-Bara in the Jabal Al-Zawiya area in the southern countryside of Idlib.

According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the "Al-Fatah Al-Mubin" mercenaries responded to the bombing and targeted the city of Kafranbel south of Idlib, no information about casualties.

The bombing coincided with an intense flight of Russian reconnaissance aircraft in the airspace of the Jabal al-Zawiya area, in conjunction with the flight of explosive drones of Damascus government forces in the airspace of western Aleppo.
