DAA recalls Qereçoxê Martyrs

The Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (DAA) issued a written statement, which it published on its official websites, on the occasion of Martyrs’ Day in North and East Syria, which falls on April 25 of every year, starting in 2017.

In its statement, DAA noted the martyrs provided by the peoples of the region and the mixing of the blood of the components in the path of struggle and to prevent tampering with the future of the region.

The statement referred to the circumstance of adopting the 25th of April as Martyrs’ Day in NE Syria, saying: “The 25th of April marks Martyrs’ Day in NE Syria, when the Turkish aggression bombed Mount Qereçoxê in April 2017.

DAA remembered the martyrs of the attack, and the martyrs of  NESyria, and congratulated the peoples of the region on their great and historical heritage, and stressed that “our martyrs are the guarantee of victory and the security of the future, and they will remain the source of determination and strength towards liberating our occupied regions and building our free democratic society.”
