DAA offers condolences to Russia over terrorist attack

The Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria expressed its condolences to Russia over the bloody attack that took place yesterday on a complex in the capital, and called for the necessity of combating terrorism.

A shooting followed by a fire inside a party hall near the Russian capital, Moscow, the attack that claimed by ISIS Khorasan mercenaries has led to more than 160 deaths and injuries so far.

The Department of Foreign Relations of the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria sent a message of condolence to Russia and the families of the victims, which it published a short while ago on its official website.

The message said: “We followed what happened in the Russian capital, Moscow, in the Crocus complex, a terrorist act that led to the loss of dozens of their lives. This act, and the targeting of civilians is similar to what is constantly happening in our regions."

We condemn in all terms this terrorist act, and extend our sincere condolences and sympathy on behalf of our people and its various components of NE Syria to the government and people of the Russian Federation, and we wish a speedy recovery to the wounded.

Combating terrorism is a necessary and important measure, and requires complete cooperation between all forces. We wish Russia stability and its people security and safety.”
