The Afrin and Shahba Cantons Council formed a crisis cell to help returnees and arrivals from Lebanon.

Al-Shahba region is witnessing a large return of displaced persons from Lebanon after the deterioration of the situation there, due to the ongoing war between the Israeli army and "Hezbollah".

Meanwhile, the Afrin and Shahba Cantons Council rushed to form a crisis cell, today, Saturday, to help the displaced and migrants returning from Lebanon.

In this context, the member of the co-chairmanship of the cell, Qazqli Muhammad, spoke to ANHA's agency and said: "Many were forced to flee to Lebanon due to the events they experienced in Syria, and now they are forced to return due to the deterioration of the situation in Lebanon."

Qazqli Muhammad added: "These are our people and our people, so we formed a crisis cell to accommodate all the returnees and provide them with the necessary assistance."

Muhammad noted that the returning families are temporarily staying with their relatives and friends, noting that the number of families has reached 114 families, including 371 individuals, so far.

Qazqli Muhammad stated that the committee has begun expanding places in the "Sardam" and "al-Awda" camps in preparation for setting up tents for the families returning from Lebanon.

It is worth noting that the committee members are:

1- Qazqli Muhammad, member of the joint presidency of the Sardam camp municipality.

2- Hasnaa Hassan, member of the Women's Committee in Sardam camp.

3- Rizgar Muhammad, member of the Community Action Committee.

4- Muhammad Lawaw, administrator in the Internal Security Forces in the village of Tal Qrah.
