Crimes of Turkish state, its mercenaries in occupied Afrin during February 

Last February, the Turkish occupation state and its mercenaries killed 4 people and kidnapped 27 others, in addition to cutting down and uprooting 800 forest trees as part of its ongoing crimes against the geography of Afrin.

The crimes and violations of the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries continue against the people of occupied Afrin.

Today, the Afrin-Syria Human Rights Organization revealed in its report for February 2024 a series of crimes committed by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries in occupied Afrin.

The Organization stated that the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries committed 4 murders during the month of February, two of which were as a result of the Turkish occupation’s bombing of the areas of Sherawa and al-Shahba, a person was killed by soldiers of the Turkish occupation army, and a person died as a result cutting down his trees.

The Kurdish student, Shiar Ibrahim Omar, was also stabbed by 5 student settlers in the Mabata district.

The report also included 27 cases of kidnapping, including 6 women and a girl. In addition to cutting down more than 200 olive trees in the Mabata district, uprooting 600 cherry trees in the village of Bek Obasi, and uprooting thousands of forest trees in the Bulbuli district.

In the context of the crimes of demographic change, the occupation continued to complete the construction of settlements in the Afrin countryside (a settlement in the village of Kafr Safra under the supervision of the Turkish Gezi Dastec Organization) and (a settlement in the village of Kafr Rum under the supervision of the Turkish Helping Hand Organization).

During January of this year, the Turkish occupation state and its mercenaries killed 4 people and kidnapped more than 50, including women and children.
