Earlier today, a convoy departed from the city of Qamishlo, consisting of hundreds of residents from Qamishlo, Tirbespi, and Amuda, heading towards Tishrin Dam. The purpose of their movement is to join the ongoing sit-ins at the dam in protest against the Turkish occupation's attacks and to safeguard the dam from potential collapse.

The convoy has now reached Tishrin Dam and was welcomed by residents from the Euphrates Canton.

Since January 8, residents of the Autonomous Administration of NE Syria have been rotating their presence at the dam to protect it from assaults of the Turkish occupation forces and their affiliated mercenaries.

This marks the fifth convoy to arrive at Tishrin Dam since January 8. Previous convoys have faced direct attacks from the Turkish occupation forces, resulting in the martyrdom of eight civilians and injuries to 55 others.
