Conference about international conspiracy against leader Ocalan kicks off

A short while ago, the conference of the Syrian Initiative for the Freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan was launched in the city of Raqqa, under the slogan: “The people, with their resistance, will destroy the Emirali wall and achieve their spring.”

Participating in the conference, alongside members of the Syrian Initiative for the Freedom of Leader Ocalan, are “representatives of the AANES, the Council of Martyrs’ Families, the Future Syria Party, members of the Democratic Union Party, and representatives of the Popular Initiative and the Council, and Legislative Council,” in addition to representatives of the initiative in the Cantons of Tabqa, Manbij, and Deir ez-Zor.

The work of the conference began with the co-chair of the People’s Democratic Council in Raqqa Canton, Luaye al-Issa, welcoming the attendees and emphasizing the continuation of their struggle until the physical freedom of leader Ocalan is achieved.

The conference activities included a speech by the Deputy Co-chair of the Democratic Autonomous Administration, Hamdan al-Abd, who emphasized the firm position of the peoples of the NE Syria region in calling for and working for peace.

The conference addresses 3 topics: “The truth about leadership, the international conspiracy against leader Abdullah Ocalan, and democratic civilization.”

The conference held comes within a series of events organized in NE Syria, on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the international conspiracy that targeted Leader Abdullah Ocalan on February 15, 1999.
