Popular, political, and social reactions continue to support the peace process and the democratic society launched by leader Abdullah Ocalan, amidst growing demands for his physical freedom so that he can fulfill his political and leadership role in the current phase.

Community members from the city of Tirbespiyê in al-Jazira Canton of North and East Syria affirmed that the freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan is a prerequisite for the success of the peace process and for enshrining the rights of the Kurdish people and other Syrian communities within any future constitutional framework.

Issa Danho, from the Syriac community, said, "Leader Abdullah Ocalan's message and his initiative for peace and a democratic society have been met with widespread international and popular support, especially from the region's Kurdish, Arab, and Syriac communities, because it is an initiative aimed at ending the ongoing wars and crises in the region."

Danho added, "To this day, Turkey has not taken any serious steps to contribute to the success of the initiative. Therefore, we demand the physical freedom of Leader Ocalan to enable him to play his leading role in this critical phase."

For her part, Fatima Mohammad al-Hamad, from the Arab community, said, "Leader Abdullah Ocalan's initiative represents a historic opportunity to end the conflicts in the Middle East."

She emphasized that "achieving the physical freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan is the true guarantee for the success of this initiative, and Turkey must end the isolation imposed on him so that he can fully play his political role."

Abdul Ghani Tami, from the Kurdish community, praised the "historic steps taken by the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), from the ceasefire to the military withdrawal from within Turkish borders, in response to the call of leader Abdullah Ocalan in support of the peace process and a democratic society."

Tami explained that "the completion of this process requires Turkey to end the isolation imposed on Ocalan and to take constitutional and political steps that guarantee the rights of the Kurdish people and other communities within a comprehensive national framework."
