Collecting of signatures in Raqqa Canton ended with 750,000 signatures
The collection of signatures for the freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan in Raqqa province ended with the collection of 750,000 signatures, in the context of the campaign that was launched in North and East Syria last February.
The announcement of the end of the process of collecting signatures came during a statement made today, in the city of Raqqa, and read by the co-chair of the Youth and Sports Authority in Raqqa Canton, Bushra al-Ahmad.
The statement revealed the end of collecting signatures and the number of signatures collected in Raqqa Canton for the freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan as part of the campaign that was launched in the northern and eastern region of Syria on February 9, by the Popular Initiative for North and East Syria, to be presented to the Council of the European Union.
The statement stated that it collected 750,000 signatures within Raqqa Canton.
