The opinions gathered by ANHA's agency about the lived experience in the Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh neighborhoods in Aleppo form a common voice that reflects hope in building a future that embodies the values of brotherhood and peace among all components of Syrian society. It serves as a model that can be generalized in Syria, enhancing stability and laying the foundation for understanding and respect among all groups.

The co-chair of the People's Council in the neighborhoods of Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh explains that the residents have managed to organize themselves and work together in local institutions despite their cultural and ethnic differences, while preserving the identity of each component.

He pointed out that the principle of "Brotherhood of Peoples" formed the foundation of their success in confronting the previous Syrian regime's attempts to sow discord among them, saying: "He tried many times to create a rift between us, but through our solidarity and successful experience, we thwarted him, as our language is the language of understanding."

In his pursuit of peace in Syria, Al-Abdullah warned against succumbing to the ambitions of foreign countries, calling for the transfer of their experience to all Syrian regions to ensure stability. He added, "We hope that the era of sectarianism ends and that dialogue begins with the participation of all components." This comes at a time when the Damascus authority is organizing the "Syrian National Dialogue Conference" without genuine representation of the segments of Syrian society, as confirmed by Syrian politicians and observers.

For his part, one of the elders of the two neighborhoods, Ahmed Hassan Al-Mohammad, from the same community, expressed his pride in the security that prevails among them, saying: "We live together without discrimination, and we hope for the spread of peace in all Syrian regions."

Omar Al-Hassan, a notable from the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood, also confirmed that coexistence represents the best solution for Syria's stability, adding: "This is a successful experience, and we hope that all components in Syria will follow its example, and that everyone will be aware of each other's rights and respect cultural diversity."

These voices from the neighborhoods of Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh reflect a possible shared hope through this experience, which is also lived in most of North and East Syria, to build a future Syria that enhances the values of brotherhood and peace among all components.
