Civilian convoy confirms its stay in Tishreen Dam area

Civilians who arrived at Tishreen Dam confirmed their stay in the area and their standing by their sons, the fighters, to confront the attacks of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries, and called on the international coalition to do its duty and put an end to these attacks.

Today, thousands of people from the provinces of Al-Jazeera, Raqqa, Tabqa and Euphrates headed towards Tishreen Dam to protect their vital facilities, specifically the dam, and to express their rejection of the attacks of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries, who have been launching attacks on Tishreen Dam and Qarqozak Bridge since December 8, 2024.

Upon the arrival of the convoy to the dam, the participants made a statement on behalf of the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria and all components in the region.

The participants confirmed their stay in the region and called on the international coalition to resolve the issues in the North and East of Syria and put an end to the attacks of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries on the region.

The statement added, "The Turkish occupation, through its attacks on the region for a month, is putting the lives of thousands in great danger by targeting vital facilities, especially the Tishreen Dam, which supplies the region with electricity and water."

The statement stressed, "We will not accept these violations and crimes committed against us, and thousands will come to the region to stand by their sons to confront the attacks of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries."

In conclusion, the participants chanted, "Long live the resistance of the Syrian Democratic Forces," "Long live the resistance of the Kurdish people," and "No to the Turkish occupation.
