Citizens of Tel Brak call for leader Abdullah Ocalan’s physical freedom

As part of the “I Wish to Meet Abdullah Ocalan” campaign, which has entered its third stage since its global launch three years ago, the Kurdish and Arab components of Tel Brak in al-Jazira Canton declared their full support for the initiative, reaffirming their strong commitment to the ideas and path of leader Abdullah Ocalan.

Resident Najla al-Khidr said: “In light of all the sacrifices Abdullah Ocalan has made—especially for women and their liberation from social constraints—we cannot repay him. The least we can do is support and endorse the campaign, and demand not only his physical freedom but also the release of all detainees in Turkish prisons.”

Teacher Hindrin Saadoun also voiced her wish to see the leader, stressing that any peace process depends on his release: “The leader’s freedom represents a comprehensive solution to the region’s problems.” She expressed her hope that her dream of seeing him free will come true.

Meanwhile, citizen Ali al-Ahmad praised leader Ocalan’s role in advancing peace through his ideas and initiatives: “Leader Abdullah Ocalan is a great personality, whose greatness lies in his ideas, sacrifices, and initiatives—chief among them his initiatives for peace and a democratic society. The leader belongs with his people who believe in his vision, and I fully support this campaign.”
