Citizen injured due to security chaos in Daraa
A young man sustained varying degrees of injuries after being shot in a town east of Daraa, while gunmen targeted a checkpoint of the State Security branch affiliated with the Damascus government in northern rural Daraa.
Security incidents continue to escalate in areas under Damascus government control, as reported by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, which also noted the injury of a twenty-year-old young man in a motorcycle drive-by shooting in the town of Ma'araba east of Daraa.
The Observatory also reported that unidentified gunmen targeted a State Security checkpoint in the village of Salmeen north of Daraa with two RPG shells.
The Observatory did not specify the extent of the losses caused by the targeting.
