CDSO: February 15 plot assassinate human values 

Today, the Confederation of Democratic Society Organizations of North and East Syria issued a statement to public opinion, that reads:

"The February 15, 1999, conspiracy against the leader Ocalan was an assassination of human values and a usurpation of international standards that were put forward in order to achieve justice and equality, guarantee freedoms, and put an end to exploitation and slavery. However, what appears from the size of the conspiracy was to prove that the hegemonic countries are the ones who analyze and prohibit laws according to their interests and goals, without any regard for the rights of the peoples and their struggle for liberation."

And add: "We, in the Confederation of Democratic Society Organizations of the North and East Syria, strongly condemn and denounce the international conspiracy that was hatched against the will of the Kurdish people represented by the leader Abdullah Ocalan, who in turn and through his thought is considered the representative of the cause of the Middle Eastern societies, and we affirm that this conspiracy failed to reach its desired goals, as the stability and advancement of society in the region of NE Syria, intellectually, organizationally, and institutionally, in accordance with the concept of Autonomous-administration, is the best evidence of this and based on it:               

We call on the international community, human rights organizations, and all free democratic organizations concerned with and calling for human rights to stand up to the practices of the Turkish state and put an end to it in order to restore respect to the values that they call for and for which they were created.”
