A dialogue session, by the Syrian Democratic Council today was held at the meeting hall in the building of the Syrian Democratic Council, with the participation of members representing it, in addition to representatives from the parties Future Syria Party, Kurdistan Brotherhood Party, Conservative Party, the Syrian Kurdish Democratic Party, Kurdish Unity Party and Democratic Union Party, in the city of Raqqa.

The session started with a minute of silence in respect to the souls of martyrs, and later on, the Co-chair of the Relations Office in the Syrian Democratic Council, Hassan Mohammad, said that the current political stage Syria is experiencing does need an active role for the parties, especially after Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham took control of the government following the fall of the former Syrian regime.

He insisted on the need for a radical solution to the historical grievances and violations that Syrians have been subjected to, including forced displacement and arbitrary arrests.

He underlined that transitional justice and compensation for those affected are essential to maintaining peace and stability in the future.

He pointed out that "the violations by the elements of "Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham" against the Syrians have started to take a dangerous turn, revealing the ugly face of the factionalism that the organization adopts in its new management of the country."

He also said, "Leaving Syria to "Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham" rule carries big risks for the future of the country, and Syrian politicians should bear responsibility for refusing to frame the rule of Syria within the vision of a faction whose leaders and members are most recorded on the terrorist lists, and wanted for war crimes that took place in Syria and other countries."

He stated, "The Turkish intervention in Syria indeed constitutes a threat to the form of the future state of Syria, through a regional conflict with it to stop it from controlling Syria directly and imposing guardianship on the new state, its economy, and army.

He clearly explained that the "launch of the political parties to address the Syrian situation must work for a pluralistic democratic Syria based on the bases of equality and justice, which makes the Syrian-Syrian dialogue very important for the building of a future of peace, freedom and human rights.

This change must be in line with the content of UN Resolution 2,254, and failure to adhere to this resolution may lead to negative consequences that exacerbate the crisis.

Hassan Mohammed Ali concluded by calling on all political parties to hold a press conference to present their political vision for the future of new Syria, and to lay the ground in which to work on in the future.
