Aspirations and hopes for returnees to Suwayda: Stage requires national unity

In Al-Karama Square, and within the central demonstration in which hundreds of residents of the city and its countryside participated, yesterday, along with the square's pioneers of freedoms, activists and concerned political, professional, cultural and religious forces, and presented by women, the writer and researcher Fayez Sarah, and the Syrian actor Ramez Shuqair, noted what the stage necessitates, in statements to ANHA agency. 

Writer and political researcher Fayez Sarah spoke to ANHA agency on the sidelines of the demonstration, and stressed the importance of national unity, pointing to its contribution to a homeland that meets the aspirations of Syrians, to move away from the return of a regime similar to the former regime, and to push for getting rid of the discrimination sown by the former Syrian regime and to overcome its consequences.

He stressed the need for cooperation and solidarity to overcome challenges and build a bright future for all, based on peaceful and coexistence. 

For his part, and for the consequences of everyone at the current stage, the Syrian actor Ramez Shuqair pointed to the importance of political openness between all parties, away from what was imposed on the Syrian components, and building on efforts, love, tolerance and cooperation, stressing that the Syrians are able to manage themselves and advance the homeland again.

Yesterday, participants in the demonstration held banners reading "We are not minorities, we are Syrians who do not need reassurances", "The time of the caliphate is over, this is the time of justice and equality", "With science and freedom we make justice and equality", "Closing any factory is cutting off livelihoods."
