Late Wednesday night into Thursday, three artillery shells landed in the vicinity of the town of Kuya in western countryside of Daraa, according to eyewitnesses.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported that the shells originated from the "Al-Jazeera Barracks," where Israeli forces are stationed in Quneitra, noting that no human casualties or material damage were recorded.

According to the same source, Israeli forces fired several artillery shells from the “Western Tal al-Ahmar” base located in the town of Kudna in rural Quneitra, as part of large-scale military exercises launched by the Israeli army in the area.

The military drills began at 8 p.m. yesterday and were accompanied by increased movement of Israeli military vehicles and forces inside the Golan Heights.
