Arms dealer arrested during security operation in Tabqa

The Internal Security Forces announced the arrest of an arms dealer in the Mansoura countryside, located in the Tabqa, during a precise security operation that also seized weapons and ammunition in his possession.

According to an official statement issued by the forces and published on their website, the anti-crime forces' operation was carried out at midnight on Friday, April 25, following extensive investigations and follow-up.

The weapons and ammunition seized alongside the dealer are as follows: 

(4) Full Kalashnikov ammunition boxes, each containing 700 rounds, (350) 9mm rounds, (70) 7mm rounds, (38) PKC rounds, (5) grenades, (1) Kalashnikov rifle, (2) holsters, (2) pistol grips, (2) H-Bows magazines, (2) empty Kalashnikov magazines, (1) Iranian 9mm pistol, (7) Kalashnikov rounds, (50) 8.5mm rounds, and (1,000) 10.5mm rounds.

The statement concluded by noting that investigations are still ongoing to identify the parties involved and take the necessary legal action. This operation comes within the framework of ongoing efforts to maintain security and stability in the region.
