The road remains effectively closed despite claims by the Interim Government of reopening it, with only a few aid vehicles allowed to pass.

Yesterday, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that the Damascus–Sweida road experienced tension after members of the "Adliya checkpoint" prevented tribal members from traveling to Damascus.

In response, the tribal members blocked the road connecting Sweida and Damascus again, demanding its reopening and their return to their homes after being forcibly displaced.

Previously, forces of the Interim Government and affiliated armed groups violated the ceasefire in Sweida by targeting the town of ‘Urai west of the province from positions in Kharbat Samar. No information about casualties or injuries has been reported.
