Arab women's massage: Hair is useless where we lost dignity

An Arab woman delivered a moral lesson after she has cut her hair, following the cutting of a braid of a female fighter from the Women's Protection Units in Raqqa by a mercenary. In a video, she said, "Hair is useless in a place where we have lost dignity."

An Arab woman expressed her outrage after a widely circulated video showed a mercenary affiliated with the Syrian Interim Government cutting off the braid of a female fighter from the Women's Protection Units (YPJ) in Raqqa after killing her.

The woman, known as Shaima, posted a video on her Instagram account, wearing an Arabian abaya, expressing her deep regret for the mercenary's action and offering her apology, saying, "I apologize to you, my sister, the fighter, and I apologize to every girl who has been harmed in the name of Arabism and Islam."

She added in her message, "You are a fighter, and even if your hair has lost after you have been killed, you have not lost life. I am an Arab Muslim woman, and I offer my apology to you and to every Kurdish girl. Hair has no value in a place where dignity is lost, and this is my apology to you."
