Arab League presents its vision for future of Syria during its visit to Syria

The representative of the Secretary-General of the Arab League, Hossam Zaki, confirmed during his visit to Damascus today that the membership of Syria in the Arab League is valid after it lifted its freeze since 2023, and the presentation of the League's vision regarding the future of Syria to the "Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham" administration.

The representative of the Secretary-General of the Arab League, Hossam Zaki, confirmed that the member states are interested in the stability of Syria and its future, and noted that he presented this vision to the "Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham" administration.

Zaki visited Damascus today at the head of a high-ranking delegation and met with Abu Muhammad al-Julani during his visit. He said: "We have held comprehensive and frank talks with Ahmed al-Sharaa concerning the future of Syria."

He added: "The member states have an interest in the stability of Syria and its future, and we presented our vision concerning this to the new administration."

The membership of Syria in the Arab League is valid after its freeze was lifted in 2023," he added. Zaki explained that the sanctions imposed on Syria have lost their "justifications now."
