On the occasion of the 12th anniversary of ANHA Agency, the agency  held a celebration at the Zana Hall in the city of Qamishlo. The event saw broad participation from journalists, media professionals, intellectuals, and the families of the agency's martyrs.

The ceremony began with a moment of silence, followed by the screening of a documentary showcasing 12 years of dedicated work in the field of free journalism and media.

In a speech, Arin Sweid, the member of ANHA’s Board of Directors, stated: "Since its establishment, the agency has strived to  convey the truth, covering events in Syria and expanding globally through a network of journalists and correspondents."

She also emphasized: "ANHA News Agency has sacrificed six of its members in the pursuit of truth. We remember them with respect and appreciation and pledge to follow in their footsteps, as they are our legacy. Our goal is to be the voice of all people."

Sweid confirmed that as the agency enters a new year, it is embarking on an important phase of change and development at all levels, while continuing its commitment to free and democratic journalism.

At the end of the event, in recognition of their dedication and courage, several ANHA correspondents were honored with commemorative shields.
