Al-Aqeidat notables visit the wounded of Deir –ez-Zor in SDF military hospital

Following the attacks launched by the Damascus government forces and the so-called "National Defense", which targeted the people of Deirez-Zor, a delegation from the Al-Aqeidat clan, including a representative of the clan, visited the wounded of the attacks, and medical sources reported that the condition of 3 of them is critical.

During the period between dawn on the 7th and the 9th of this month, the Damascus government forces and the so-called "National Defense" affiliated with it, shelled the eastern countryside of Deir-ez-Zor with mortar and rocket shells, which resulted in the martyrdom of 13 citizens and the injury of 12 citizens.

The attack resulted in the martyrdom of 4 people from one family and the serious injury of two children, their grandmother and their aunt in the village of Al-Dahla.

 To check on their health condition, a delegation from the al-Aqeidat clan, including the clan's representative in al-Jazira region, Sheikh Hussein al-Abraz, visited today the injured who are receiving treatment at the military hospital of the Syrian Democratic Forces.

Ismail Aboud, whose wife, two of his children and his niece were martyred and whose sister, mother and two of his children were injured in the bombing of the village of al-Dahla, demanded that the killers be held accountable, and thanked the Syrian Democratic Forces who rushed to their aid.

"We stand with the Syrian Democratic Forces"

Sheikh Hussein al-Abraz pointed out that the residents were targeted and subjected to brutal attacks while they were asleep, and said that they must be held accountable for these crimes committed against the people of the region.

Al-Abarz pointed out the commitment of the Syrian Democratic Forces to their duty in confronting the attacks in the best possible way, and rushing to treat the wounded. He continued his speech by saying: “We thank them for standing by our side in these difficult days. We, the notables of al-Aqeidat clan, all stand with our fighters in the Syrian Democratic Forces, and with the strength of the Syrian Democratic Forces and the will of the people of the region, we will repel all attacks targeting the stability of the region.” 3 of the injured are in critical condition

Regarding the health condition of the injured, Dr. Mohammad Khalaf said: "The 12-year-old child Fahd suffered a brain injury and there are some shrapnel in his body. He is now in intensive care. The condition of the 5-year-old child Malak is critical. She was injured by shrapnel in her head, neck and liver. The mother, Thuraya al-Aboud, 50 years old, was seriously injured in her abdomen and her brain was severely damaged. The young woman, Malak Aboud Hussein, was also seriously injured in her chest, so she is suffering from difficulty breathing. Therefore, her condition is also critical."

Dr. Mohammad Khalaf stressed that they are doing their utmost to treat the injured, and added: "As a military hospital affiliated with the Syrian Democratic Forces, we are trying to fulfill our humanitarian duties towards the pain and wounds of our people, and we call on human rights and humanitarian institutions not to remain silent about these practices."
