AANES Official reveals an important meeting tomorrow

The co-chair of the General Council of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria AANES revealed that the council will vote and approve the draft of the new social contract tomorrow, Tuesday, while describing it as very important.

On December 7, after a series of extensive meetings and discussions over two years with all segments of North and East Syria, the expanded committee completed the drafting of the social contract in its last session, which lasted 4 days.

The co-chair of the General Council in the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, Farid Atti, said in an interview with ANHA agency, “The draft social contract was referred to the General Council so that it could hold an expanded session composed of members of the General Council and representatives of the legislative and civil councils in the 7 administrations.”

Atti revealed that the General Council will hold its regular session tomorrow, Tuesday, December 12, in order to vote to approve the new social contract, describing the meeting as “tomorrow’s meeting is very important for the Autonomous Administration.”

Atti confirmed: “The approval will take place by voting on one article after another, and then voting on the overall social contract for North and East Syria.”
