9 people killed in two ISIS attacks in countryside of Hama, Homs

Two ISIS attacks on civilians and soldiers in the countryside of Hama and Homs, which are under the control of Damascus forces, resulted in 9 deaths.

A medical source at Salamiyah Hospital in the Hama countryside told Al-Watan newspaper, which is close to the Damascus government, that the bodies of four civilians from the same family that used to collect truffles were transported to the hospital.

He explained that the dead were exposed to fire from ISIS mercenaries after they went out yesterday to collect truffles in the vicinity of Tal Salamah in the eastern Salamiya desert.

Sham FM Radio confirmed the newspaper’s news regarding the arrival of the bodies of four civilians from one family to Salama Hospital, noting that contact with them had been lost yesterday after they went out to collect truffles in the vicinity of Tal Salama, where they were exposed to gunfire from ISIS.

In a related context, the radio said that five soldiers from the Damascus forces were killed as a result of an ambush carried out by ISIS that targeted a military vehicle southeast of the third station in the eastern countryside of Homs.
