The Syrian Democratic Forces announced the joining of 51 fighters from Deir ez-Zor to its ranks during the graduation ceremony of a new training course for fighters from the al-Kasra Military Council.

The Martyr Muhammad al-Khalil Academy graduated a new training course for fighters from the al-Kasra Military Council, named after the martyr Bassam al-Sultan. The course included 51 fighters from Deir ez-Zor, according to a statement published by the Syrian Democratic Forces on its official website.

The training course lasted 45 days, during which the fighters received various intellectual and political lessons, in addition to intensive military training on various types of light and medium weapons.

The graduation ceremony was attended by a number of leaders from the al-Kasra Military Council and the Syrian Democratic Forces.

The ceremony began with a moment of silence in honor of the martyrs, followed by a military parade by the fighters of the al-Kasra Military Council. Awad Salem al-Abd, commander in the al-Kasra Military Council, then delivered a speech in which he congratulated the fighters on their graduation. He praised their high morale during their training, emphasizing the importance of the training in enhancing the fighters' efficiency and providing the Syrian Democratic Forces with capable fighters to protect the region amid the sensitive circumstances and current security challenges.

The ceremony concluded with the fighters taking the military oath, renewing their pledge to protect their people and their land.
