Members of the Labour, Peace and Democracy Forces in Istanbul gathered in Şişhane to protest the attacks of the Turkish state-backed HTS against Aleppo.

Many protesters, including parliamentarians from the DEM Party were besieged by the Turkish authorities' police in the protest square, and police officers attacked the protesters and arrested about 50 of them.

Despite the attacks of the Turkish authorities' police, the protesters continued to demonstrate, chanting the slogan "Long live the Rojava resistance" and demanding an end to the attacks on Aleppo and the cities and regions of the North and East Syria.
