Armed groups, claiming affiliation with the leadership of Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham, launched an armed attack early this morning on the village of Al-Anz in northern rural Hama, which is home to Alawite citizens. After storming the village, these groups carried out field executions of five people, including elderly individuals and a 12-year-old child. Several others were injured, including a notable figure from the Al-Salamiya area known for his involvement in reconciliation efforts, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

This crime has sparked outrage in the region due to the lack of security and stability. Residents have called on the relevant authorities to take urgent action to stop such incidents and ensure that the perpetrators are held accountable.

These incidents come amid ongoing security deterioration in several parts of Syria, with frequent killings and armed attacks heightening residents' concerns.
