4 of Damascus forces killed by ISIS attack in Deir ez-Zor
ISIS mercenaries attack on a military vehicle of the Damascus government forces led to the killing of 4 members of the latter, in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor.
SOHR stated that 4 members of the Damascus government forces were killed when ISIS mercenaries targeted a military vehicle which was coming from the vicinity of the Mu’ayzila area, towards the town of Al-Duwair in the Al-Bukamal desert in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor.
Damascus government forces targeted, with rocket shells, sites believed to contain ISIS mercenary cells in the Albukamal desert in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor.
The death toll during military operations within the Syrian desert, according to Observatory documents, has reached 427 dead since the beginning of 2024. They are: 43 citizens, including a child, 355 from Damascus government forces and groups loyal to it, 29 ISIS mercenaries, who were killed in 140 ISIS attacks in the deserts of Deir ez-Zor, Raqqa, and Homs.
