The SDF Commando Forces, in coordination with the International Coalition, carried out two security operations in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, which resulted in dismantling two cells.

According to a statement issued today by the SDF Media Center, the first operation took place in the village of al-Bareha in the al-Basira area, where the forces arrested an ISIS mercenary involved in carrying out attacks against military forces and civilians, and seized quantities of weapons and ammunition in his possession.

The second operation targeted a terrorist cell in the village of al-Sabha in the same area, during which the forces arrested two mercenaries who had participated in several attacks against security and civilian targets.
