3 abducted, crop of 70 olive trees stolen in occupied Afrin

A source from the occupied Afrin reported that a group of 15 mercenaries from the “Military Police” raided yesterday evening, the house of the citizen Muhammad Darwish Rasho (47 years old), a resident of the Qatma village of the Shara district, and kidnapped him.

The source added that the mercenaries brutally assaulted him and his family, as result in Muhammad's elderly mother, Fatima being seriously injured, after which she was transferred to Afrin Hospital, and her wounds were stitched with 11 stitches.

In the same context, another source reported today that “Civil Police” mercenaries kidnapped the Yazidi girl Sultana Samir Abdo (25 years old), from the people of the Pavilion village of Shra in the occupied Afrin canton, her fate remains unknown.

The same mercenaries also kidnapped the citizen Ismat Omar, a resident of the village of Ikdam in the Shra over a quarrel occurred between his child and the children of settlers in the village.

In the continuation of the crimes, eyewitnesses from the Mobata district said that members of the Turkish occupation mercenaries stole the crop of 70 olive trees, owned by the citizen “Abu Haitham,” a resident of the village of Semalka in the Mobata district.

Another source said that the Al-Hamzat mercenaries imposed levies on the residents of the Janders and Mobata, ranging between 300 and 500 dollars, in each of the villages of (Jolaqa, Faqir, Kafrdli Fawqani, and Kafrdli Tahtani).

They also imposed a royalty of 250 tins of oil on the people of Korka village in Mobata.

Since its occupation in March 2018, Afrin canton has witnessed countless crimes, amounting to crimes of ethnic genocide and demographic change by Turkey which is exploiting the Syrian refugee issue.
