The crisis cell of the Democratic Autonomous Administration, which specializes in the affairs of expatriates from Lebanon, announced today the arrival of 257 people to the NE Syria, bringing the number of arrivals to about 20,000 people, including Syrians and those who hold Lebanese nationality.

The crisis cell reported that the number of arrivals to the region rose to 19,132, including 58 Lebanese nationals, and 19 bodies.

The arrivals either head to their homes or to relatives in NE Syria, while those who have no place to go are provided with shelter by the Autonomous Administration.

The Representation of the Autonomous Administration for NE Syria in Lebanon, along with the Nawrouz Cultural and Social Association, continuously organizes trips for Syrians wishing to return from Lebanon to the region.

The Autonomous Administration’s representation in Lebanon has taken on the responsibility of returning Syrians who wish to come back to the region. A committee was formed on September 24 to follow up on the affairs of Syrian refugees.

The military escalation between Israel and Lebanon’s Hezbollah has forced tens of thousands of Syrians who were working in Lebanon or had fled there during the Syrian crisis to return to their country, after the escalation led to the deaths of dozens of Syrians.
