An attack launched by ISIS mercenaries on truffle pickers in the Raqqa desert resulted in deaths and injuries.
A young man was killed and two others were injured as a result of an attack launched by ISIS mercenaries targeting truffle pickers in the desert of the eastern countryside of Raqqa, within areas controlled by Damascus forces, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
The toll of ISIS attacks in the desert of Deir ez-Zor, the desert of Raqqa, the desert of Homs, and the desert of Hama and Aleppo, according to the Syrian Observatory, amounted to 229 dead since the beginning of the year 2024.
