21 people, including 3 women, were killed in Aleppo in ten days, as a result of the explosion of mines and war remnants, mostly in the eastern countryside of Manbij.

21 people, among them three women, were killed in Aleppo during the first ten days of February by the blast of landmines and unexploded ordnance, mostly in the eastern countryside of Manbij.

The deadliest incident occurred on February 1st, when landmines resulted in the killing of 17 people in five villages, including Shash al-Bubna and Mahshiyat al-Sheikh Ubaid. Similar incidents were also reported in the Afrin and Dayr Hafer countryside.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights called on the relevant authorities to expedite the removal of war remnants, and take urgent measures to protect civilians.
