200 fighters joined the Self-Defense Forces
The Academies Command of the Self-Defense Forces in the Euphrates Canton graduated from the Martyr Sherhat Qamishlo course, which included 200 fighters.
The Martyr Kesko Academy for Self-Defense in Raqqa Canton organized the graduation ceremony for the course of the Martyr Sherhat Qamishlo, which included 200 fighters, from various region of NE Syria, and lasted 45 days, at the academy’s headquarters north of the city of Raqqa.
The graduation ceremony was attended by members of the Defense Body, the Raqqa Military Council, members of the Executive Council of Raqqa Canton, and the families of the fighters.
The ceremony began with a minute of silence, then the leader of the Self-Defense Forces in the Euphrates Canton, Iman Al-Waza, gave a speech, in which she welcomed the audience and said: “Comrades, we congratulate you on the graduation of this course that bears the name of the martyr Sherhat Qamishlo, this martyr who gave his life for the sake of defense for our region, and today we will continue his journey.
Then the fighters took the oath, pledging to the martyrs and people to defend the land.
The ceremony ended with military parades
