The Democratic AANES, through the crisis cell specialized in the affairs of those coming from Lebanon, stated that the total number of arrivals to the region from Lebanon reached 17,558 people.

And noted that the numbers were as follows:

Men: 6114

Women: 5587

Number of children: 5800

Number of persons of Lebanese nationality: 46

Number of funerals: 11

The Democratic Autonomous Administration indicated that the arrivals go either to their homes or to their relatives in the NE Syria, while those who do not have a place to go, are allocated centers to shelter them.

Within the framework of the efforts of the Democratic Autonomous Administration of the North and East of Syria to secure the return of Syrians from Lebanon to their areas of origin, the Representative of the Democratic Autonomous Administration of NE Syria in Lebanon and the Newroz Cultural and Social Association are conducting trips for Syrians wishing to return from Lebanon to the region.

The Autonomous Administration Representation notes the facilitation of logistical and administrative procedures for refugees wishing to return, with an emphasis on providing them with the necessary support through the Autonomous Administration institutions in the region.

The military escalation between Israel and the Lebanese Hezbullah prompted tens of thousands of Syrians, who were working in Lebanon or went to Lebanon at the beginning of the Syrian crisis, to return to their country, after the escalation led to the deaths of dozens of Syrians.

From a humanitarian standpoint, the representative of the Democratic Autonomous Administration in Lebanon took it upon itself to return Syrians to the region who wish to return, as a committee formed on September 24 a committee to follow up on the affairs of Syrian refugees.
