Today, the Tal Hamis District Council of Qamishlo Canton made a statement in front of the Cultural Center in the eastern district, condemning the attacks of the Turkish occupation state on NE Syria.

The statement was read by the administrator at the Democratic Society Academy in Tel Hamis, Youssef Al-Mahous, in the presence of a number of male and female members of civil institutions and political parties.

The statement stated: "The Turkish drones target civilians and soldiers, where their  missiles have shed much of the blood of the innocent Syrian people."

The statement explained that this was being done in light of "clear international silence and adding: "We are fully aware that the global powers give Turkey  green light to attack NE Syria."

The statement emphasized: “From this place, we do not allow any party or terrorist plan that aims to take our land from us, and we will thwart all Turkish plots.”

The statement concluded by calling on all organizations and the UN Security Council to take a firm and strict decision against the Turkish attacks on the regions of NE Syria.
