​​​​​​​Matai Hanna: Our forces are ready to respond to all attacks

As the Syrian Democratic Forces continue their operation to "Security Enhancement" in the areas of Deir ez-Zor, the front lines facing the Turkish occupation are witnessing intense attacks by mercenaries on populated villages.

Yesterday, Sunday, Tal Tamr district witnessed attacks launched by the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation, targeting three villages in the countryside of the district. The fighters of Tal Tamr Military Council confronted them, inflicting heavy losses on them and forcing them to flee.

Commenting on the attacks the region is witnessing, the official spokesman of the Syriac Military Council, Matai Hana Lokatana, stated: "The region witnessed security tension after the Syrian Democratic Forces launched the security enhancement operation to pursue terrorist cells, saboteurs, drug dealers and promoters in Deir ez-Zor, and in conjunction with it during the end of last August, The region on the northern lines witnessed a military escalation by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries.

He added, "The Turkish occupation and its mercenaries had many attempts to infiltrate the points of the Syrian Democratic Forces, in addition to targeting the front lines with heavy weapons, but the fighters of the Syrian Democratic Forces bravely confronted the infiltration operations carried out by the mercenaries, the last of which was yesterday, Sunday, when they thwarted their operations on the villages of Tal Tamr."

Matai Hanna confirmed during his speech: "Our forces in Tal Tamr Military Council were able to inflict heavy blows on the mercenaries, leaving a number of dead and wounded through their blows, forcing them to flee and return to the points from which they started."

He added, "We are receiving information that the number of their dead is increasing due to the severe injuries they suffered during the clashes with our forces."

The official spokesman of the Syriac Military Council noted that this antagonism and infiltration attempts are entirely in the interests of the Turkish occupation state and the hostile parties that are trying to sow discord and chaos, and continued: "We also saw in Deir –ez-Zor how the hostile parties moved to the region and the Autonomous Administration by trying to drag the region into a sectarian war." Kurdish and Arab, but the awareness of the clans' notables and the wise leadership of our forces thwarted all plans that were planned against the region.

He concluded by saying, "Our forces will be ready to confront all attacks that affect the gains of our people and the security of our regions."
